Kahl Consultants is a certified green business that is solar powered.
Founder Alex Kahl is a former Environment and Energy Consultant. His knowledge of environmental business practices ensure that we are constantly working to minimize our environmental impact. We actively promote green practices with customers and partners.
Conservation is key to running a sustainable business. We are always looking for new ways to reduce our environmental footprint. Our business is solar powered and energy efficient. To conserve water we use graywater (recycled water), collect rainwater and use water-saving fixtures. Our landscaping uses xeriscaping methods and drought-tolerant native plants.
Kahl Consultants avoids working with socially and environmentally destructive corporations. We do not condone or assist in any greenwashing (the practice of disingenuously spinning products and policies as environmentally friendly).
Promoting Green Practices
We support web hosting powered by renewable energy. We educate our customers about environmental issues.
Spam and junk mail are a waste of time and resources. Kahl Consultants assists clients in fighting spam. Our NO SPAM policy means all our email marketing is double opt-in marketing to your target audiences.
Alex Kahl is the host of Marin Green Drinks, a San Francisco North Bay mixer with a speaker series, where folks gather monthly to network and discuss all things green.

Kahl Consultants met the requirements as we had invested in many green features: energy efficiency, solar power, water conservation, recycling, and more.
Marin County also had an additional level of green certification called the Marin County Sustainable Partners Program. Kahl Consultants was one of the first companies to receive the Sustainable Partner award. The Sustainable Partner award is given to those who go above and beyond environmental compliance to attain levels of management that benefit people, the environment, and communities as a whole. Measures include additional environmental impact reduction efforts and corporate philanthropy practices.
